Zwanze day 2014

I do like that JK is doing new glassware, but would really like some more delicate stemmed ware, even at a higher price.

The larger Teku, and even the original 'free with entry' glass are great, and get a ton of use. These new goblet styles are used to check in the beer to untappd, and never again. The style doesn't seem to do the beer justice imo, and seem like they picked the cheapest option(besides pint glass). Also like the gold etching on the JK symbol on some of the glasses, I wish that was almost a standard.

So another vote for updated stemware! And a hope that the glasses lasts into the afternoon(bummed and surprised that Fen Tao glass was sold out early Sat).

I bought a few glasses but was given them in a case box. Fen Tao glassware did sell out in ~two days so some people probably hoarded it, but some people who looked like they were getting a case might have had a mostly empty box.

Ahh, just my opinion. I love the big Teku, and its delicate nature. They also hold more, and let me get a better look at the beer. Not so much the goblets, just seem chunky to me... May sound weird I guess.

Edit: And the 'untappd' comment was how I use them. Wasn't meant to imply that I thought anyone else felt the same. I do still collect them as I can.

 

Any chance there will still be a bottle share going on during the last session?
