Depends on the 'desire' of the bottle, see below. It kinda turns into a buffet.

This; you can't try everything. There are subgroups, but they're usually 'open subgroups' and people move between them meeting people, chatting, trying beers.

Pretty much yeah, e.g. if you open an Assassin or West Ashley it's normal for you to pour it to who you want or those nearby who ask. Sharing is caring, but also make sure you get enough of your own beer to make you happy. Probably not half a bottle, but make yourself happy and as many others as reasonably possible.
For something like Event Horizon or Saison Rue, typically it'll get passed around to 10 people and then 1/3 will be put on the table for whoever to take and if it's not finished it sits and gets warm/hot.

Last year there were at least 10 fallen soldiers that were rescued, iced down, and enjoyed after 8 PM. It's really cool that everyone is so willing to share, but the first two hours is a kind of overwhelming flood of bottles and a lot sit with 5+ ozs left.

I guess I'll add that you shouldn't be afraid to come to the share even if you don't think you have bottles worth sharing. Bring your best and have a good time. But also don't expect to bring stuff you just picked up at Specs/HEB and then try to try every .rar bottle being poured by the owner.

Typically at shares, food is a great addition/alternative to bringing beer; @jesterkingbeer is food permitted at the share before Stanley's opens? Can we also get a bottle share start time? Is ~11 AM cool again?

This. A lot of sharing last year, but they may have been due to the Zwanze. Not bagging it, I liked it more than most fwiw.

It's doable. I was there for 12 hours last year. Just have to pace yourself, eat, drink water, take a break, repeat.

I'll bring a Loon for sacrifice on Saturday. I'm hoping to be there sometime around 4 PM. Hope to see some of y'all still kicking at that time. Please leave some of the Zwanze beer for session 2.

I plan on getting there by 5 for the last session, will the bottle share still be going on? I've got plenty to break into

I hope regardless of winning the sessions, we are able to buy merch all day. Specifically glassware.

This is up to @jesterkingbeer as they get to set the start and end time of the bottle share.

Last year, the share started to weaken at 1:30 PM, and was mostly done by 3. However, there were still open, non-empty bottles on the tables and some of us were still opening a thing here and there (at a much more casual pace) past 6 PM. If JK allows it, bring your stuff and see who's still going strong.

Welp, my TG box was damaged in transit and sent back to my partner, so unfortunately I won't have any of those for the share. I'll be up there with @EA728 and some Vermont goodies in their place.

This week is going by way too slowly!

I didn't win the Cantillon lottery, but I had a few non-beer nerd friends sign up so I could have their pour and one of them won. Turns out, some other random dude neither of us knew asked him for his pour. My friend said he could have it after the guy gave him a bottle of vintage Tequiza and $5 for his troubles. This random guy screwed me out of my friends pour that I was gonna have.

As long as the bottle share is under control and people aren't getting sloppy or obnoxious, we don't really feel the need to impose a time limit. Just please know we hate loud and/or profane drunks. We are very serious about being a place where you can bring children, family, etc., so please respect this. - Jeff
