Sold out, but there is plenty of good beer left. Cantillion kriek was on but tapped at 12:30 before I could get any.

Went to Armsby for brunch. Great taplist as always. Can't help but feel some of the feeling from years past is now gone.

Novare Res' event was quite enjoyable. The toast was a bit delayed/awkward but other than that incredibly minor thing, it was very chill and well-run with a very nicely-curated taplist. If there had been some of the HF offerings Armsby apparently had, it would have been a true paradise but I really enjoyed myself regardless. The Zwanze was pretty fun and drinkable as well, offering a glimpse into a kind of "remix" of an old-school fruited lambic with some unpredictable twists as only JVR can pull off with 100% stylistic accuracy.

Novare was like past lord hobo zwanze days but if they were chill. It never hit capacity!

Shahin runs a classy Z-Day as always. Fine taplist, and not just Cantillon. Always a pleasure.

Did anyone go out to Greenfield? I'm curious how the Seymour handled things. If they can hold the momentum in western MA - and I hope they do - it should really be a viable alternative to Maine & Vermont treks (if it isn't already.)

Fantastic Zwanze day event at Trillium yesterday. Tap list was excellent with Rum Barrel Black Currant Wild Sinister Kid and Double Red Stonington standing out in a big way. I didn't notice any beers kick over the course of the event. A foamy keg of Kriek did make for a long line at the main bar, but that pretty much dissipated halfway through the event. Overall a stellar event - hopefully we have the opportunity to celebrate at Trillium again next year.

Shout-out to Brewer's Fork for running a smooth pizza operation for almost 200 people.

For the collective record, the tap list:

I was at seymour, and it went very flawlessly. Well attended but not packed, spreading it out over two sessions for such an intimate venue made a lot of sense. The bottle/draft offerings were well curated, food pairings were on point.. Really hope this sticks for next year, easily the most chill Zwanze experience I've had!

Totally agree. We were at the first session and really appreciated the food pairings--they worked extremely well with the pours (Mamouche, Kriek, Zwanze). I was glad they ticketed the event, that place is so small it would've been awful with a crowd. The 40-50 people cap was busy but comfortable. Plus, they still have plenty of Cantillion bottles and draft on today!
