I got one right before it switched to "sold out." It wouldn't let me buy a second. If you see a fat guy posted up in the corner alone, come say hi.

Do we have any idea on the number of tickets they made available? Can't wait

I'm hoping its not much more than was at the anniversary party this year. that was the perfect amount. my guess is that it will be more though.

I created a thread about it, but also wanted to let folks in here know that I set up a "high-end" bus (with a bathroom!) to Trillium for Zwanze Day from Kendall Square Station. 40 people minimum, 55 max, and it will cost between $21-30 per person depending on how many book.

    Book a ride here: http://rallybus.net/ZwanzeDay/?ur=c34ae86a-dda8-4273-a744-68ccaedcbbb3

I can't imagine all that many tickets were sold, they need to abide by capacity and the "public" floor space isn't enormous. I'd guess it is about the same number as the anniversary event, and that certainly didn't feel crowded at any point.

Plus, they need extra space for ice cream and face painting stations. Hoping for a ball pit and balloon animals too. Should be a fun time.

I get that for beer. I just don't get the non-beer stuff being forced upon people. Obviously others don't care.

Fly to Belgium and drink some Zwanze at Brasserie Cantillon after Zwanze Day. That's what i might do.

I'm stuck going to Brasserie Cantillon on Monday so Zwanze 12, 13, and 15' will have to do for now

Zwanze '12 is the greatest sour I've ever had. I think you'll do just fine.

You brought lots of empty bags, right?

And the Cantillon (in general) is dirt cheap over there. I think it's less expensive than water. In fact, I don't know if ever I've had Cantillon outside of Belgium. It's rare to see it, and far too expensive (probably the former, I might buy a bottle at a bar depending on price).

12 Bottle shipper will have to work between Cantillon/Amsterdam/Copenhagen.... Unlucky for me I'll miss Fou bottles by about a week....

The glassware complaints are fair. I have no interest in those but if lots of people want them, I could see why they do it that way.

Not going to Trillium (going to Avenue Pub in NOLA) but I WISH I could get glassware

I don't know about the older vintages, but I have it confirmed from Jean Van Roy that Zwanze 2016 will not be for sale in bottles for take away. It will only be available for consumption at the brewery.

Confirmed that Trillium sold 190 tickets to the event from JC on Facebook. A little more than the 3rd anniversary party. Guaranteed Cantillon offerings among other treats.

In addition to bus transportation, the other nice feature I'd like to see would be the option to return your glassware after the event for a refund. Like NERAX does.

Personally I'd keep the glassware like I do at NERAX (because I'm a glassware *****), but giving people that option would be appreciated by some in my opinion.

I wasn't at that party but that seems like a nice manageable amount. Should be a non shitshow

I was at the party. I would guess around 150 people at it and it didn't feel crowded at all.
