I'd like to thank Brouwers for yet another extremely well run Zwanze Day. No issues, everyone got their beer. Hell, they had extra pours of Zwanze 2015 for anyone who might have come late or wanted seconds. The Holy Mountain Table Punch Sour was probably my favorite beer. Always refreshing to see how smooth this goes out here.
It's pricey (seeing how I got three 750s at the brewery for ~$20) but sure easier than chasing trucks. I did hold off on getting pours of any Loons I have bottles of at home. Only did Vigneronne and Zwanze 2015.
Zwanze 2015 was better than I thought it would be, basically a roasty lambic if that makes sense. 2012 is still my favorite of the Zwanze beers I've had (2012, 2013 and 2015).
I didn't make it until a little after 1pm and was still able to try Zwanze. It was probably my least favorite of the day but still pretty good. I agree about the Holy Mountain being my favorite of the day. Nice calm event, like every Brouwers event I've been to. I do not envy people that live places where these things turn into madhouses.
Or places that charge $50-$75 entry fees. Split a bunch of beers, order of fries and a pretzel with two other friends and my part of the bill was less than $40 with tip.
