Zwanze Denver

I got tickets. I think they sold out in just a few minutes. After last week I'm almost beer'd out, but I'm definitely at least going for my Zwanze pour and (hopefully) a Kriek and/or RdG pour later.

 

This is weird. Doors open in 30 minutes and there are 5 people here.

So it was actually fantastic for the actual Cantillon portion. Only like 100 people showed up so pours were plentiful and it wasn't crowded. I miss the crazy shares beforehand, but the actual event was nice. The Zwanze beer was okay, but nothing amazing. Kinda like a muted Vig. Nath was super acidic. Not a fan at all. Kriek and RdG we're both great, and they're my faves anyway. The RdG they were pouring was godlike. Probably my favorite version I've ever had, and I've had quite a few.
