I will be in Europe for work early next week and was planning on spending a day (Saturday) in Brussels and a day (Sunday) in Amsterdam before I head over to Germany. My plan was to hit Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen and a few of the recommended bars in Brussels before stopping in at Dorst on Sunday morning and heading to Amsterdam for the afternoon (Arendsnest, etc.). This was before I found out about the Zythos beer festival. For all of you who have experience with the festival and the others places I plan to visit, should I change my plans to make a portion of the festival? Will there be things there that I would not be able to try at other places on my stop? Any recommendations and feedback welcome! Cheers, Grant

And most of those can still only be found at Brewery. Anything "Cask Strength" is straight from an old wooden barrel and only available at the festival.
If it's all about beer, do the festival. If you want the experience of seeing Brussels, rest assured that you will find more than a day's drinking of unfamiliar stuff available to you. Can't go wrong.
