Piper's Pub presents our 4th Annual Mid Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week Early Weekday reason to eat a boxty and drink a good beer. This year we welcome back The Kentucky Hot Brown Boxty along with a pair of Pub Chip Shop and Piper's Pub food mashups. We kick things off at 8:30am with the food specials running until 3pm and the beer runs as far as the beer can run.
Maple Bacon Chicken & Waffles - Our specialty made-to-order Belgian waffle topped with hand breaded, crispy fried chicken tenders and maple bacon glaze $10. Suggested Beer Pairing:Yards Barrel Aged Porter, Deschutes Abyss or Thirsty Dog Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Porter
The Kentucky Hot Brown Boxty - oven roasted turkey, sliced tomato, crispy bacon all stuffed into our house boxty, smothered with Welsh cheddar cheese sauce $10. Suggested Pairing: Troegs Barrel Aged JavaHead, Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti or Founders KBS
Not Yo' Mamma's Benedict - The Chip Shop's fresh baked buttermilk biscuit topped with a sliced Scotch Egg covered in our house made sage sausage gravy $10. Suggested pairing: Yards Russian Imperial Stout, Helltown Imperial Stout or Bells Expedition Stout
