Excellent wild ale that was best in show contest winner at the Frederick fair from 2011. Been barrel agin for about 18 months. Nice funk in the nose and tasty. Excellent balance of sour, sweetness and complexity. Easily the best sour beer I've had within 30 miles of my house.

Outstanding appearance, burnt orange, quite hazy, not a lot of head but good lacing on glass as I drank. A lot of horse blanket, gotta love that. Pretty tasty, rather easy to drink. Does not have quite the pop of some sours but very tasty and smooth, with just a touch of sweet that is well balanced with the sour. Subdued but balanced. Of course, I had coffee about 30 minutes ago so that may be factor. Nice feel, rich feel in the mouth without a lot of cloying sweetness, good carbonation adds texture. Overall a very solid offering, excellent flavor and feel without being overwhelming, and at $4 a glass, and $13 for a growler, awesome way to try the style!
