Pours a cloudy, dark brown color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight hop, hint of yeast, hint of spicy hops, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, slight hops, pine, hint of yeast, hint of hop resin, hint of spice, and slight alcohol. Overall, decent appearance, good blend, aroma, and feel, but not overwhelming.

On draft at the brewery.

The beer appears dark ruby to copper hued with a wispy beige head. Aromas of piney hops, sweet fruits, biscuit. Similar flavor with sweet and bitter flavors doing a delicate dance. Resinous with caramel malt and fruit notes. Thin body, especially for the 8.1% abv. Pretty good.
