This was served with a huge, creamy, medium-tan head. The color was a deep, dark brown that allowed very little light to pass through. The nose was rich and chocolaty. The mouthfeel was creamy due to the pour and I got a light chocolate taste in the mouth. The finish had a really good, chocolaty taste to it.

The Spring seasonal Prodigy Porter pours a off-brown with a milky white head, great lacing on this beauty. The aroma is of burnt malts and chocolate. Creamy, rich and well-rounded, this ale holds great flavorings of dark roasted malts, espresso and some hop bite as she warms. Superb.
