On tap at microbrewery the beer was tasty but almost flat with no head. It was tasty as more of a brown ale than an ESB.

The appearance was a hazy orange to light brown color. Bar pour doesn’t yield any head. The smell had the normal "soapiness" of English malts extending throughout the beer. Light somewhat spicy hops are underneath. The taste followed the nose. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable aspect about it. Overall, I say this was a good ESB worthy of having again.

On draft at the brewery.
The beer has a copper body, mostly clear, with a thin, wispy head. The aroma is mild, offering bready malts, grain, fruits (apple?). Malt forward with a light sweetness and a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Thin bodied with moderately low carbonation. Easy drinking and refreshing, albeit on the bland side.

This nice English style ESB is quite a good beer. The aroma is somewhat sweet and bready. The flavor profile starts with nice caramel sweet followed by a lingering spicy light bitter. Nice creamy body. Excellent.
