Orange color, almost amber. Lighly hazy. A creamy and cream colored foam.
Banana, light cloves in the smell, yeast.
In the style, and quite balanced, too.
More sweetness in the taste, again banana, phenolic, and yeast.
Sweetish in the aftertastetoo, with banana, wheat and yeast.
A bit boring for the sweetness, but in style.

Presentation: standard Vulkan brau to-go bottle, caps are color coded for style. The weizen has a white cap.
Appearance - pours a slightly milky, faded tangerine. 3 fingers of soft white head, very smooth, lots of big bubbles and pockets. Leaves sticky lacing behind as it recedes. Some solid chunky sediment in the final few ounces, most of it settles to the bottom rapidly, some of it remains suspended.
Aroma - heavy banana and yeast, the most standard of aroma elements but well-done. Once the head goes down to a cover, the yeast aroma dominates. Great stamina, aromatic for the whole half-liter.
Taste - mostly a bready, yeasty flavor. Some minor notes of banana play around at the swallow, along with some mild hop flavor. Finishes sweet, enhancing the banana taste. Solidly put together, despite it being a simpler example of the style.
Mouthfeel - has a buttery texture to it, but also seems thin. Feels more like a weizen light beer.
Drinkability - my wife loved this on tap in Frankfurt. It has some good points but maybe it suffered from the trip and the time elapsed since summer. My areas score got progressively lower as I went along, as did my overall impression. Not bad at all, but I probably wouldn't go for it again unless I could try it on-tap.
