"A light ale with a strawberry aroma"
Straw to gold color, clear; no head nor any remnants of a head; No lace.
Nearly no aroma, not even the advertised strawberry.
Candy-like strawberry flavor shows up in the aftertaste. Decent body for a beer this light. Easy to drink but a little plasticky for me. I detected a light hop in the swallow which at least counters the coy sweetness.
Note: this version of Strawberry Blonde was 4.8% ABV

Poured a translucent golden yellow with a thin white head and left a little frothy lacing sticking to the glass. You can definitely tell there is strawberries on the aroma but is not super potent I also detected a little grain, sweet malts, and slight citrus notes. The strawberries are nice and quite balanced with the malts which make for a good fruit beer that is not overly sweet. On the back end I could taste citrus and wheat notes that help to accent the overall flavor. The brew was light to medium in body with a good amount of carbonation which had a slight fruity sweet but crisp finish. It drank really good and really went well paired with BBQ.

On draft at brewery, 11/19/2007.
Light golden-yellow with reasonable carbonation. Aroma is of artifical strawberry flavoring, like a breakfast cereal or strawberry soda. Flavor is likewise dominated by artificial fruit flavor, although there are oxidized, corny off-notes as well. I suspect this is just their blonde ale with strawberry flavored syrup added. Aftertaste is mainly lingering, unpleasing mild astringency and some nasty bitterness.
Blecch. Will never drink again.
