It tastes to me like an AAL. Think of a yet inferior imitation of a Corona. Like beer-flavored fizzy seltzer. Not worth going into the finer LSTFO points, and for me, not worth trying twice.

Sweet and blend easily drinkable beer. Abit soda-alike. Very small aftertaste.
Makea, laimea helposti juotava olut. Limsamainen. Pieni jälkimaku.

350 ml can (exp. 01/2017), new version with 4.4% ABV, no adjuncts and no antioxidants etc in the ingredients list. Faint aroma of hops, no bad notes anywhere, but definitely too sweet. It could use some hops' bitterness. Not a great one, but it's worth the price.

I purchased a bottle of Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager) for 79 cents in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA/USA.

Look: Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager) had no foam.
Smell: Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager) had a faint odor of hops.
Taste: Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager)had a faint taste of citrus and wheat.
Feel: Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager) had average carbonation.
Overall: Devassa Loura (Tropical Lager) is a cheap beer for people who have nothing else to drink.

Best by 7/18/15.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy bone head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain and sweetened corn flake aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet grain, corn flake, and really subtle grass flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer that is much like the other sugary sweet grain and corn forward lagers found around the world.

Serving type: bottle.

Thanks to Duda for this one!
Pale gold with rapid streams of carbonation. Patchy skim on the surface, spotty white lace.

Aroma has a little bit of sulfur unfortunately, paper and tea notes also.
Taste is mellow and papery, light apple, pretty inoffensive. Light bodied with coarse carbonation. Overall a pretty standard industrial lager, nothing special.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of grains, malts. Taste is mild, malts, touch of lemon, a bit of sweetness. Feels light in the mouth and overall a decent beer on a warm night.

My mother likes, says it's the only one who does not give her headache... not me, it is light and easy to drink, but more expensive than a Heineken; do not give it ?!

Appearance: 1/4 inch head, gold in color, clear, moderate carbonation

Smell: tropical rind and adjuncts

Taste: toasted malt, straw, and adjuncts

Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, light bodied, sweet

Overall: An average tropical adjunct lager. A slightly different taste from the adjunct. Pleasant, but nothing I need to revisit anytime soon.

Missing eval, this one for the science.
Golden color with a thin head with short retention but leaving some laces.
Light aroma of sweet bread malt, corn and faint herbal hops. Not bad, I was expecting less.
Flavor of sweet malt which initially predominates over adjuncts with distant hints of herbal hops. A bit of cooked vegetables, but not annoying. Light aftertaste.
Light to watery body with good carbonation.
Slightly better than other local adjunct lagers, anyway just a shadow of what a Pilsner should be.

(Served in a plastic cup)
A- This beer pours a lemon yellow with a slight haze and a thin white film that breaks up pretty quickly. There is a gentle carbonation of bubbles working there way to the surface.

S- The clean aroma has hints of field corn but not much else.

T- The faint pils malt hint is soon gone with a field corn finish and some sulfury taste overtaking the try finish.

M- The light mouthfeel has a full fizz that scrubs the tongue.

O- This beer really has no flavor at all. It was served pretty cold but even as it warmed up there was just nothing there.

350ml served in a mug glass.

A: Pours a pale yellow clear color forming a medium white aired head. Low retention and only few lacings left

S: Really hard to find something here.... realty weak. Sweet grains and some hops, if you do an effort

T: Follows the nose, I mean, tasteless. Sweet grains, no trace of bitterness. Adjunct malts are really annoying, mainly the corn

M: Very light body, watery. Medium carbonation sweet grains aftertaste

O: Low drinkability. Not a Pilsener, as usually written in the Brazilian Adjunct Lagers. Honestly, I would not classify it a beer. In any case, it's a disgusting liquid that should be avoided
