Purchased in a brown 33cl bottle. The label says Chaumont Sur Loire, The Castle Grocery Store. It seems to be a specially brewed for a local store. Purchased in France in a southern
Starts with a decent white head, but no lace. Settles to a thin layer of bubbles. Definitely bottle conditioned. It initially appeared clear but the yeast on the bottom made it so cloudy, you cannot seen through the glass.
Very sour smell...a little bit off.
The flavor reminds me of a Saison. Lots of yeast bite. Sour like the smell. Extremely thin body. Short aftertaste with some black pepper.
