Remember the can but don't remember the beer too much other than it was quite tasty. Think I had 3 or 4 years ago.

Nice 2 finger head. Not very hazy but not entirely opaque, about the expectation of a west coast IPA.
Tropical fruit (pineapple and mango mix?) and pine nose.
The pine really flows thru on the initial taste, and a nice sweet malt flavor throughout. The bitterness is strong, but not overbearing. The taste seemed to lack the fruitiness of the nose. For a 7% brew, the alcohol was quite tame.
The feel was weak to me and the flavor dissipated a bit too quickly.
But all in all a very well balanced malt that at 7% would put me in a danger zone of over indulgence. Definitely a brew I'd keep handy as a good west coast brew that works for me.

Can from Boise Co-op. Clear, medium golden with small tight head. Head lasts for a while. Barely there aroma, malt first second, hops next. Taste picks up a bit, but not too much. While it may seem weak to some, I'll call it subdued. Faint hops bite at the finish. Gets better as it goes.

Canned 2.20.23
Poured at fridge temp into a nonic glass
Pours golden with an aggressive head(due to falling out of the fridge) but the lacing it left is consistent and sticky. 3.5
Strong pineapple and tropical aroma, followed with similar sweetness. 3.75
For the high ibu count (and a few others I've tried) I'm impressed by the smoothness in flavor because I went in expecting cleaning solvent. Booze peeks it's head out for a second but fades as a slight zest takes its place before fading to a nice pine. 4.25
Moderate/medium body with softer carbo and a lingering hop oily aftertaste. 4
Overall a unassuming but pretty good IPA in my books. 4

From tasting notes 09/16/22
Had on-tap at Liquid Therapy in Fair Oaks, CA
Appearance - Served up in a classic pint, clear and golden yellow in color. Thin, broken layer of suds on the surface. Lacing is fair with broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Citrus, appleish esters, pine and a bit of bready malt.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fruity notes of citrus, apple and and underlying pine. Bready malt sweetness. Finish adds a touch of citrus pith and lesser pine rings through. 3.75
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Solid west coaster. Par for the coarse. Drinkable but doesn't stand out in the ocean of IPAs being made.

Pours a beautiful clear, golden orange in color with a half inch of frothy head atop. Plenty of lacing as you drink. Some of it clings to the edge of the glass, the rest slides down. Carbonation looks spot on.
Aroma is a lovely mix of citrus and tropical fruits with a hint of lemon and pine zest. There is a biscuity maltiness lingering in the background. Quite inviting.
The taste is decidedly hop-forward. Apricot, orange, grapefruit and lemon peel hops with a subdued cracker/biscuit malt backbone that lends some balance but mostly stays in the background. Finishes a little dry with lingering lemon and grapefruit rind on the tongue. Wow! Quite flavorful. Reminds me a lot of Big Swell IPA from Maui Brewing Company, which is one of my favorites.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with very smooth carbonation and ample chewiness. A very easy drinker at 7% ABV. Probably wise not to session this one, though.
Overall, this is a superbly crafted brew. This is my first beer from Silver Moon, just grabbed a lone can on a whim in the state liquor store while visiting Utah. It's the exact flavor profile I love in an IPA, I would definitely love to get a full six pack of this. Cheers!

Six-pack of cans. Pours a shiny gold color, hazy with a bubbly white head. Smell is faint fruity, like citrus. Mild flavor, well balanced with a malt presence, fruit flavors and mild bitterness. A very drinkable but mild IPA,

Neat to see a Bend brewery in SLC, but it looks like they're coming in with a milder IPA. The aroma is a little harder to glean, even with a tulip glass, but I can see why in the flavor. It's mild and mellow, with a soft touch on the hops edge. The aftertaste is quite long though, with a little lime and botanical touches clinging well after I have the last bit.

L-Dark oak shade of color...pours a little flat out of the can
S-Fruit forward with juicy citrus and and tropical fruits. A hint of floral notes as well.
T-Nice clean fruit cocktail like flavor...some citrus, some tropical fruits, some pears, a touch of peaches...nice flavor although not super assertive. Nothing dank or grungy at all about this.
B-Light side of medium. Low carbonation.
O-I like this. Almost like a nice pale ale though in flavor strength. Low bitterness but some orange peel like bitterness on the late finish...

She looks and smells great, but when you make the big move, she's not quite enough. Then she just fades away, along with her faint body, leaving you shrugging your shoulders and looking elsewhere.

a very nice can of beer here, fresh as can be, northwestern as they come, simple from an ingredient standpoint it seems, but a fun one to drink, pretty sturdy both in terms of malt complexion and strength, i could see this being a little more seasonally right in fall or winter, but im not complaining here in the summer either, silver moon has been on a roll lately for me, ive liked them all. this has a little orange to even rust color to it, not fully clear but certainly not a hazy by any stretch either. it holds a frothy white head from the can and is brisk and lively to drink on. i get aroma and flavor of fresh pine here, bitter orange peel, honeysuckle, and a little bit of weed resin too, an obvious freshness here, pine way in front of citrus, and some honey or crystal malt in the mix with some flavor, a little sweetness, a softly toasted balancing tone, but then it gets out of the way at the end so the finish can be hoppy with a little bite, great balance and proportions here, i like what the malt brings, and dont think it makes this old school or dated or anything, its right on. i miss ipa like this, hope these types dont go completely away as more and more brewers continue to chase the trends. great carbonation here, very clean for having some malt character to it, and even refreshing somehow. awesome with grilled fish, vegetarian chili, or by itself! really enjoying this six pack this weekend!

CAN from a beer store in Colorado:
7% ABV. 75 IBU. "India Pale Ale."
Honeyed sweetness with tinges of toast, caramel, and marmalade. Floral hop flavours...a hint of resin.
I don't love the hop profile. Not the most pungently hoppy expression of the style. Seems a bit too malty.

05/06/20:
Hop profile doesn't do it for me and it finishes oddly sweet with some unwelcome accompanying resinous flavours...it's almost a bit sappy. Marmalade sweetness and biscuity malt give it unbecoming English IPA influence that just doesn't work well for it.
Smooth, wet, a tad sticky, well-carbonated, unrefreshing.
I can't get past its core lack of balance. Per the can, they're after a sort of tropical fruit, pine and Citrus zest flavour profile...well, they failed.

Our first from this brewery. The pour is typical of a NWIPA, darkish amber, slight hazy, clean look with thin head. Pinet /woody nose. Highly hop forward (of course) and well done...not harsh and has a solid malt foundation. Long, lingering taste with pleasant flavors, almost a juicy-fruit chweing gum effect, which is a nice touch.
