Poured from a 12oz can with a canned on date of 4/5/18; into a pub glass.
Appearance- deep gold, oily sediment and lots of bubbles; head is a medium to thin soapy white that leaves moderate lacing.
Smell - very mellow nose, with only hints of fruit notes.
Taste - very mild and underwhelming flavor profile with low hop tones, stronger malt presence and a touch watered down.
Feel - at 4.7%, this is clearly intended to be on the lighter side, however, this seems to drastically compromise flavor in order to achieve a low ABV.
Overall - ultimately a pretty dull beer that for the price you’d be just as well off with something cheaper.

this is my first beer from these guys, they are new to the colorado market, and i was sold on the packaging and the name, they call it a "casual ale" which in some ways means nothing to me, because when i have it my way all my ales are casual, but the cans looks sharp and i had heard good things. the beer is pretty basic, somewhere in between pale ale and american ipa, bright golden and rich looking in the glass, clear and heady, fresh smelling, but not at all unique or different to me. it is quite flavorful for how low the abv is, which i am sure was the goal of this one, some citrusy notes to the hops, and plenty of bitter too, slightly metallic to me too though, some orange and lemon, maybe a little citra as a dry hop, and despite the pale color to the malt its quite flavorful as well, honey type, clean at the end but well balanced for sure. i think i wanted this to me more unique and that expectation depreciated my enjoyment of this one, but it shouldnt have, its well made beer and fills a nice niche in the market here, especially this time of year. good even if it is a little similar to some others out there. i will look forward to trying their other beers, all of which are equally attractively packaged...

A: Pours a lovely and inviting golden color with a lively white head that dissipates and leaves low retention.

A: Instantly smells like a session IPA despite (or well suited) it's "Casual Ale" title. Honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus, pine, and some bready biscuit goodness.

T: Taste follows, blending each note seemlessly together. Light and grainy sweetness lead and follow through on this dance.

F: Exceptionally light feeling, crisp, medium carbonation and we'll balanced. A very fitting title to this easy drinking beer.

O: I wish I had brought this beer on the hike. A very easy beer to drink and well suited for any type of beer drinker. Clearly meant for all day consumption at 4.7% abv and 30 ibu, this beer is a winner for those marks. May very well see this one frequently during the warm summer months. Cheers!

Canned on 06/08/2017.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt yellow/almost orange color with a glazed over finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off immediately. No lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet orange pulp, light pineapple, a touch of sweet freshly cut grass and just a whiff of white pepper.
The flavor brought those prior mentioned aromas together nicely from sweet to spicy and an ever so slightly bitter underneath. Aftertaste was somewhat dry and having the white pepper with the orange pulp.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Finish was somewhat dry and combining the orange pulp with the white pepper and a little bit of lemon.
Overall, this was a bit of a surprise as I didn't think this was going to be this good. I'd definitely have this again.

Lightly hazed pale gold with one finger of five minute white head. Some rings of lace.
Citric floral hop aroma with some light bready malt.
Flavor is citrus lemon orange hop note with a touch of pine. A light malt cushion leans this more into the session IPA realm.
The body is light with good carbonation. Finish is mild dryness with medium bitterness.
Overall a light refreshing ale with a decent hop presence.

Brand new canned product. 12 oz. Very good session ale with knockout can graphics. Product dated 3/2/16 - appreciate the easy 'non-code'...and really like drinking a 16 day old (young) product. Enough hop, enough malt in a nice balanced ale. A true craft-quality session brew. Bravo Silver Moon. Update - I put this beer to a sterner test: post-bike ride on 80 degree afternoon, what came to mind was "best session ale I've ever had"
