Another nice double IPA from Bend. Rich in body and color, nice deep hop bitterness , blends well with malt backbone. Re-rate: still a solid DIPA, bright orange golden body, small soapy head. Fruity, citrus notes in the aroma , taste leans more on the astringency of the hops. Knocked a point as I’ve had some even better DIPAs since my first rate.

This is the most perfumey tasting DIPA I think I've ever tasted. What is that heady, flowery aroma? The brewery says it's made with Columbus, Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops, but they seem to have brought out the aromatics amazingly. I didn't think these hops could be so fruity. Orange blossom aroma and lime peel taste.
Clear orangey amber with plenty of foam in the Timmermans goblet. Spritzy on the tongue with a malty mouthfeel. Some sweetness goes nicely with the big hoppy fruit. Citrus flavors, along with that sweet and sharp kumquat taste. A touch of candied pineapple. Mango and pine. A nice surprise and apparently there's something in the water in Bend.
