12 oz can from Boise Co-op. Cloudy golden, lazy carbonation, faint head. Malty aroma, white bread, saltines. Taste is smooth malty flavors with a razor thin edge of hops. Thick, creamy.

Washington always has an eye screwed against Oregon for too many reasons to get into here. When it comes to beer though, the Snake River and Vancouver and the Goonies' town become not so much border fastnesses as loving conduits and waystations for beers like this. This is an outstanding pilsner or blonde, whatever you want to call it (Total Wine called it a pils). I call it supreme!

i like a nice house golden ale like this, and since i have drank through about every yellow craft beer in the grocery store during quarantine, i picked this one up finally after looking at it on the shelf for a couple of weeks. i have not had a ton of beers from these guys, but this is quite good, i drank three of them last night and will happily polish the rest off today. its a bright blonde beer with a little more flavor than most. the head rises up two inches high in my glass, pure white, and with sparkling carbonation, a very nice looking example of the style. aroma is mild, a little something soft from the yeast, not quite belgian, but moving in that direction, a little slightly soapy and spicy thing that i like, intentional or not, better than sterile for me. the flavor has a little hops on the back end, a mild ester in the yeast, and a simple, drying, fresh grain base, slightly european to me there, clean barley taste, some minerals from the water profile helping to dry out the finish, and even with the yeast element, it almost has a lager crispness about it, refreshing and drinkable. i love the high carbonation, and overall was quite pleased with this, especially as an accompaniment to spicy tacos. solid brew for an everyday drinker. definitely not retired as its listed here.
edit: i liked each can of this better than the last, and finished the six pack a pretty big fan. i will continue to keep this in the rotation as a from the can crusher, its quite solid and way less boring than most of them. silver moon has appealed to me lately across a range of styles...

Clear bright yellow brew with plenty of white foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Overall it's crisp, just tangy enough, and kissed with a pleasant flowery hop. Aroma of fresh bread and a faint hint of lime. A touch of citrus with the light cereal flavor.
This is really a better than average Blonde Ale. Silver Moon calls it a Golden Ale. I was thinking it was a decent Pale Ale until I got in the middle of reviewing. A highly drinkable light but tasty brew in any case. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Hazy gold with a moderate, short lived head and little lacing. The smell is subdued but nice, floral, a little grassy and warm. Nice flavor, malt forward with a surprisingly crisp finish and just a hint of hoppy goodness left on the palate. Very very pleasant in the mouth served ice cold on a warm evening with some potential as a session brew. A pleasing little ale.

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy medium yellow color that had 1/2 inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left very light lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical for the style, light grain, gentle hops. Same on the tongue, good even balance between the two, neither dominates.
The body was light, crisp, and had good effervescence. The finish was semi-dry. Drinkability was pretty good, I could easily down a few at a cookout. Overall, nice brew, worth a shot if you're in the mood for nice, easy drinkin' brewski.
