Thanks to Sharpski for this one. Not sure of the vintage, but possibly 2017. Waxed 22 poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a solid black color with just a thin cap of dark khaki head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma had a rich malt base, some light berry fruit, a touch of whiskey, and an overall sweetness.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with the fruit, booze, and barrel being a touch bolder.
The body was pretty typical for the style; medium-full, smooth, and had a medium sweet finish.
Drinkability was very good, a smooth, easy quaffing, and enjoyable brew.
Overall, a very nice brew. Most certainly worth your time if you see it.
