Cloudy pale golden colour with a foamy white head. Fair head retention.
Big spicy banana aroma with well balanced yeast notes. Good.
Light tart wheat with excellent yeast character. Good banana flavour. Some clove and a touch of vanilla.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. Suitable.
A really solid hefeweizen from Silver Moon. Excellent yeast handling makes for a great beer.

220z bottle poured to your standard issue pint glass.
A- A light, hazy yellow, almost the color of lemonade, with a bright white head. It only yielded barely 2 fingers though with an aggressive pour. Excellent retention of what head you do get.
S- Spice notes, some carbon-like dryness and a twinge of citrus.
T- A nice yeasty and spicy palate, but it lacks any real grain character. No depth. A quenching alternative to your average american hefe. Surprisingly dry finish.
M-Light on the tongue, but that also helps enforce its lack of flavor depth or complexity.
O- A decent go-to for a hefe. Its not going to blow your socks off, but its above average.

pours a very cloudy yellow with a small white head, and some lacing.
smell is of wheat, a touch of citrus, and some banana.
taste is crisp, yeast, a little citrus, and some hops in the back, ends a little oily.
overall a pretty good hefe, not as wheaty as most.

This offering from Silver Moon needs a little work. It's supposed to be a German-style Hefe, but the aroma lacks the banana and the taste had some weird toffee flavors and the beer lacked in carbonation. I bought a bottle at the store and maybe it was older and I need to re-review this brew.
Aroma:
Fruity with some clove mixed in and estery. An odd (for the style) caramel aroma was detected. A very slight banana smell at best. Very little hop aroma which is consistent with the style.
Appearance:
Light orange in color and very cloudy. A nice white head fobs up but goes away quickly. A couple of flecks, yeast?, protein? were hanging out at the bottom of my glass.
Taste:
I got sweetness in the form of toffee and wort at first which was strange considering the style. Those flavors went away and then I could taste the yeast and the fruit. A tad papery. The carbonation seemed too low for the style but not by much in this medium bodied brew. The finish was pretty dry.

Appearance: Yeasty, pretty much opaque straw yellow. A hard pour gave me about 2 inches of head, though it recedes into a thinner cap pretty quickly, leaving a bit of lace behind.
Smell: Yeasty bread dough with some faint malty sweetness. Light herbal hops. Perfectly fine but not standout in any way.
Taste & mouthfeel: Spicy and bready with a nice full body, very yeasty stuff. Moderately phenolic but nothing outrageous. The finish is neither overly dry nor sweet, fairly spot on for the style. Solid stuff all in all, I'd definitely try this again given the chance.
