Lot to be desired here, feels a little thin, flavor is better this time though. Not much berry, idk I think I just had too high of expectations for this one

Look: Pitch black with a lively and good-looking tan head that settles to a nice pillow, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Raspberries, chocolate, roast, light nutty notes, and a little sweetness
Taste: Chocolate – both sweet milk and darker cocoa – along with juicy raspberry strike first, soon joined by waves of roast and nuttiness. More chocolate-covered raspberries in the middle and through to the lightly sweet finish
Mouthfeel: Fairly full – not too big and bold but far from thin feeling, medium-high carbonation, soft and silky throughout, especially in the finish
Overall: This is really tasty stuff. I dig fruit in beer if done right (subjective, of course) so was hesitant somewhat on this but these folks’ mango pale ale is tasty so went in with an open mind and I’m impressed. A great blend of raspberry and chocolate that is really well balanced and adds lots of depth to the porter base beer. Unique, delicious, and recommended
