The bourbon Barell porter was I believe a brewed once, the pint I had was probably a test for the upcoming barrel aged brew fest in bend.

Look Deep deep black, mocha head. It looks wonderful, this is what a porter should look like.

Smell: carmel, coffee, bourbon, chocolate, strong smells of all.

Taste: strong black coffee, malty sweet, chocolate, a little bit of a good whiskey, for 5.7 it feels very soft and no alcohol presence at all.

Mouth: thick, covers tongue, very robust and full feeling. This is the regular porter, and once its put in those barrels, it makes it come alive!

Drink: great in sense of overall, but this is not an everyday beer, more like something special to have on a good occasion.
