500ml can poured into tulip.
Pours a clear, pale yellow with one finger of white head that leaves foamy blobs of lace as it recedes.
Smells of crisp pale malts, soft lemon and grapefruit zest, apple peel and rainy river valley pathway leafiness.
Tastes of white bread, apple, lemon peel, flinty hard water and more leafy, fruity hops.
Feels light and soft. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.
Verdict: Recommended. The hops weren't exactly a show-stealer, but they did the job.
