Grabbed this bottle at Acqua al 2 in DC, and while Italian beer leaves much to be desired, this one isn't bad. Biggest downside - the price tag at $24/16.9 bottle.
Pours dark amber, almost soda-like, reminding me of a belgian style ale. Head is massive, though likely poorly poured by the waitress, and dissipates to a nice finger that remains throughout. Smell is strong with lots of malt, caramel and honey.
Not sure how this is defined as a fruit/vegetable beer, and it definitely doesn't taste like one. This tastes like a knock-off belgian, with nice malt, and a little honey flavoring. Medium/light body, nothing special.

This beer poured out as a muddy looking brown color, the head was very intense and I needed to give it time to settle before I could pour the rest of the glass. The smell of the beer had a big smokey aroma to it. The other aromas of herbs were also in there but the smoke was the strong focal point on this brew. The taste is surprisingly not that smokey, there are some spicy herbal flavors that seem to take over the tongue while the nose is breathing in campfire. The mouthfeel wasn't too bad, pretty standard feel to it. The overall feeling for this was that it was unique but I paid a little too much for it I think. All in all it was worth trying and I enjoyed it.

poured from a pint bottle, into my Deschutes tulip...
A - Pours a very murky brown color, with a nice tan 1 finger head that leaves very little lacing.
S - The smell is pure honey! Just as if you took a sniff from a honey bear!
T - Malty, and slightly nutty. The honey is definately the star in this brew, and the chestnuts take a backseat.
M - Has a medium mouthfeel, slightly over carbonated.
O - Word to the wise, this one overflowed when I popped it open. Other than that, it's a good beer. Unfortunately, I don't get much chestnut, but that doesn't mean that it's a bad brew.

Pours a murky reddish amber body with a bubbly, stubborn tan head. Good retention and lacing.
Smells of smoked nuts with sweet malts and other sugars. Not much going on here at all.
Tastes of smoked malts, backed up by a little honey sweetness. Has a nice roasty feel to it, but it's extremely one sided and 'off.' Feels very watery and the flavors blend together in a very weird way.
Smooth, but perhaps just because of the watered down feeling. Stinging carbonation and medium bodied. Has a lot of traits of a smoked beer. It's not good, not horrible... it's just a middle of the road brew.

The aroma is actually like a smoke beer with chestnuts, candy sugar, and malt. The appearance is deep amber with a persistent foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma and odd in ways that are hard to describe. The palate is smooth. The aftertaste is medicinal. Overall its not too good.

With chestnut flour and chestnut honey.
Brown in color, with intense red edges. Beige foam, average.
In the smell the chestnut prevails, dusty.
Good structure, with a good roast malt, and the chestnut, again strong. Good.
Average body, floury aftertaste, of chestnut again.
Pleasant. Maybe a bit too monotone.
