12oz bottle from a 6 pack. Bought at Grocery Outlet. Salem OR. Dark brown beer with a nice creamy tan head. Nice chocolate, coffee aroma. Strong and good. Taste is the same but with a bit of ashiness.
A reasonably good dryish porter.

Was somewhat disappointed...less flavorful than a typical porter. Look and smell were fairly nice, but generally underwhelming.

Nice porter, only knock against it is an abrupt finish. Tap poured nice and rich, creamy, foamy head, lots of sticky lacing. Coffee / cocoa aroma, roast grains, mild bitterness. Lots of dark chocolate.

On tap at the brewpub.
Look: near opaque dark brown body with an exceptionally durable tan head; excellent lacing.
Moderately strong aroma features sweet and dark malts. Enticing.
Flavor: Mild bitterness. Below average strength and above average balance for style.
Near medium, smooth body with lively carbonation..

Great looking dark brown appearance with two fingers of tan head that lasts about five minutes. Rings of lace.
Smell is dark roasted malts coffee light toffee slight dark chocolate.
Taste is similar to the smell but the light mouthfeel is a bit of a letdown. Listed as 34 IBUs not real hop flavors come forth.
Overall a light Porter. Good flavors just needs a bit more body for my enjoyment.

Served On-Tap
A – Pours a deep amber/brown, not black, thin mocha colored head forms and leaves behind nice lacing.
S – Nicely roasted coffee and chocolate notes, light sweetness as well.
T – Rich and dry bitter notes of coffee, chocolate malts, nice.
M – Light to medium bodied, a little thin if anything.
O – Nice porter, would be even better if it was a little richer.
