On tap at "The Lodge" in Bend Oregon.
NIce clear "toasted" brown colour, with a good sized offwhite creamy head.
The aroma is plkeasant and malty as I would expect from a Scottish ale..also some nice faint peaty/smokey aroma pushes through.
mmm a very malty beer, a little hop detrected but minimal.Very nice smoked peat taste, slightly toffeeish in the finish.
Quite good and pleasing mouthfeel..maybe a little cloying if your a "hop head" though.
I really enjoyed this with my reubens at lunch..nice stuff.
