"This crisp, refreshing gold Ale differs from most ale due to its comparatively low fermentation temperatures. The Kolsch yeast used for this beer performs well at temps as low as 56 degrees Fahrenheit, which creates an ale that is smooth in flavor and quite drinkable."

A rotating seasonal of theirs, available in late summer and fall.
Very very light, macro straw colored. Big fluffy crown and respectable carbonation.
Aroma is floury cake dough and sweet biscuit. Hops are muted.
It has some wheat-like yeast flavors, and a slight metallic twang. It's smooth and I guess well-crafted, but it's so unremarkable. I actually would have been kinda putoff paying $4 for a pint of this, fortuatly, I was there on locals cheap-brew night, so it makes the pint worth it. Poor mouthfeel, but excellent drinkablity. It's almost easier to drink than juice.

I don't think I've ever seen a beer this clear and pale. I would call it straw colored, but it's almost a stretch to suggest it has color at all. It nearly seems to fall into the "water" category moreso than "beer" and upholds the properties of a liquid magnifying lens. It sports a downy white head, a doughy aroma, and vigorous, small-bubbled carbonation. But there's otherwise not much beer here.
There are no off-notes to report, but neither is there much to latch onto; just a light yeasted pungency and, if you let it warm, a stray grain of sweetness. The Kölsch showed superb head retention and generous mouthfeel. But it's otherwise too timid to warrant one's attention.
