Pours a honey orange with a half finger of foamy head that dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pine and papaya. Taste follows nose. Juicy.

never seen this one before i dont think, or else i subconsciously dont look for these guys anymore after a couple of less than amazing beers from them this summer. this is not real hazy but it does look real malty, almost amber toned rather than the more common pale for the style, good head from the can though, nice label aesthetic, cant be too critical. its definitely got a little more of the crystal or english or toasted malt thing than i need in one of these, starchy still too though, so fuller feeling and tasting overall, but the hops have a nice lightness to them, summery and fruity, orange and pineapple and peach to me, tangerine and maybe mango as it warms, not overdone, not green, and without hardly any bitterness, so its smooth and sort of relaxed to drink on. it could use a little refinement, and even though the ferment is pretty clean and the carbonation is there, the beer still has a weight to it thats a little out of place, and this maybe should go down a little quicker. i like the mix of hops though, and think they did a nice job with the dry hop. this is a tough space to stand out in these days, especially in the northwest, and this doesnt really, but its a fine beer, a half step up or more from some of their others ive had in recent months. slight sweetness through the finish carries the fruity part of the hops the furthest, i like that.
