Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a nice opaque dark orange with tan head. Nose is orange peel, wheat, pumpkin, and leather. The nose is really interesting. Citrus, wheat, toffee, hop bitterness, cold medicine, and leather. Sweet, but mostly hoppy and fruity. Definitely different for a barleywine. Not really getting any barrel on this one. Mouthfeel is light.

Can from Uptown Market.
A clear copper with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is rich in brown sugar, burnt sugar, caramel, a little toffee, floral honey and plenty of bourbon. Notes of coconut and booze are present. The palate opens boozy and mildly sweet but not too rich, with caramel, toffee, brown sugar, a touch of maple sugar along with bourbon, heat, vanilla, more toffee. Medium light in body, softly carbonated, long, sticky, boozy finish. A noticeable oak tannin character is present on the finish, a little unrefined? All told, a fun drink.
