Collaborative brew by Cascades Lakes (Bend) with Badlands Artisan Distillery in La Pine, Oregon. Bbeer was aged in Badlands Plum & Cherry Vodka barrels...along with a touch of Rye Whiskey barrel aging.

From a 16 oz. can purchased on-site at Badlands Artisan Distillery.
The plum really comes through to add a dark fruits element. Drinks more like an American Strong Ale.
Poured into a standard pint glass. Smell: the glass was an arms length away as I poured (outdoors) and the very pleasant bouquet quickly reached my nostrils.
The sweetness is restrained - nicely balanced with an earthy quality.
A very good imperial porter.
