Pours a dark garnet/red body with a huge and attractive lighter tan head. Luscious and frothy!
Very rich malty aromas. Toffee, caramel and a bit of floral hop in there.
Taste similar to aroma very malty. Deep malts but with a touch of floral hop to bring it together.
Mouth feel is good. Could have used a wee bit more carbonation.
An older style amber ale..but its fine enough.
