Bottle. Very dark chestnut colour. Dense head which dissipates slowly. Lacing apparent.
Aroma of scrumpy and slightly oxidised red wine. Plums and raisins present. Vanilla fudge. Complex.
The oxidation is more apparent upon tasting and allows a nice tart flavour to appear. Bitter. Rather boozy.
Full bodied with a soft carbonation.
Cellaring time has allowed this one to develop nicely.
