Bottle. Cellared for 18 months. Deep chestnut in colour. Little to no head.
Rich aroma of vinous fruits with a mild sourness. Sherry like.
Taste has the Madeira coming through quite strongly. Rum and raisin fudge, some wood and autumn berries. Sweetish, with a rounded bitter finish. A bit of scrumpy is present.
Soft carbonation with a rich velvet feel.
This is the best of the versions possibly due to the cellar ageing.
