Appearance: Arrives amber colored and cloudy with a solid head that leaves a fair amount of lacing
Smell: Earthy, almost woody, bitter tones
Taste: As with the aroma, the earthy bitterness presents with a hint of caramel underneath; the bitter tones stay restrained through the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Interesting hop flavors in this session IPA; it grew on me over time

Pours a clouded yellow with a white head. The beer is more citrus than anything with a salty edge. The flavor seems to drop off quite a bit and things get thin very quickly, which to me is a major detractor. Overall, the beer is "okay." It's thin and uninspiring. Lagunitas DayTime and Founders All Day IPA are certainly vastly superior to this one. (DayTime being the session ipa that I have liked best so far.) This one comes close to neither of those. An easy drinker though. I would have liked a good bit more out it, especially since the brewery has been around for so long now.
