#2 in a series of single batch Session Ales. Picked up a growler today during growler hours.
A - In the growler, the color is almost identical to the Big Hop. In my pint glass, it looks slightly hazier. Golden orange color. Thin, dirty white head that quickly disappates to a thin sheen.
S - Im not picking up too much aroma. Some slight grassiness at best. As it warms, some banana/estery fruit aromas.
T - Luckily the flavor doesnt dissapoint. The hop bitterness hits initial and lingers. Hints of caramel from the malt. Decidedly bitter but not overmuch so. May be a bit unbalanced towards the bitter side.
M - Smooth, minimal carbonation. A tad watery but not flat tasting.
D - As the name implies, a great session ale. Highly drinkable, although it may end up a bit flat towards the end of the growler.
