A. Poured from a Growler into a pint glass. A brownish black with a mahogony tint. Soapy white head provides some lace.
S. Donut Shop aroma of doughy malt sweetness.
T. The brew tastes vaguely roasted with a subtle citrus hopping. Light toffee notes are there too, hint of fresh brewed coffee. No real lingering taste it finishes abruptly.
M. Full bodied finishes semi-dry.
D. Drinks easy and worth a try, I didn't know what to expect with this beer, I was thinking big alcohol bite and strong rum soaked raisen flavors, but this is more like a german style dunkle lager. Well crafted nonetheless.

Pours a dark brown with a nice thick head. Flavor is definitely appopriate for the style. Nice bready and doughy tones with an earthy funk tone that rests in the mouth and doesn't really leave. Feel is nice and thicker with a smoother carbonation. This is slightly thicker on the flavor profile, which might make it more of a sipper for some people. But I could certainly go for a few glasses of this one.
