East End's Bitter End II, part of their session beer series, aimed at lower ABV for continued drinking.
Pours a hazed dull orange in color with a small head and alot of lacing.
Aroma full of floral hops, inviting.
Taste is quite bitter upfront. Grapefruit, Earthy Hops, Pine, and lemon rind all there yet the beer manages to remain bitter throughout. Malt is lightly toasted and provides just a shade of balance.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a chalky finish.
Drinkability rates high, a nice beer all in all with plenty of hop character to make things interesting. A very hoppy bitter and an enjoyable one at that.
