We teamed up with our pals at Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar to create one of the city’s first pickle-flavored craft beers. This is a tart Gose ale brewed with over 600lbs of cucumbers, along with real coriander & dill, to deliver everything you'd expect from a Primate Bros. pickle - except maybe the crunch.

16 ounce can, canned on 07.22.21. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch or so white head. Head retention is OK, and there isn't much lacing at all. The brew smells mostly like cucumber, along with coriander, dill, lemon and peppercorn. Tastes a little more like a pickle than it smells, as the dill, peppercorn and coriander have somewhat more of a kick than it does in the aroma which is mostly cucumber. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's refreshing and easy to drink, and also a bit coating. This isn't a bad pickle beer and one I'd drink again, but I wish it had more pickle flavor to it. Just seemed more cucumber forward to me overall. Thanks to Jon and Meg for this one!
