Appearance: Somewhat of a gusher, which leads to an impressive head and clumpy lacing, once the foaming settles down; the liquid underneath is a cloudy amber
Smell: Rather phenolic, with Band-Aids dominating the smoke and fruity elements
Taste: Bready, with the smoke coming through along with the phenols; adds a vanilla character in the middle; Band-Aids in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; somewhat creamy
Overall: Maybe this is getting a little age on it, but I find myself rather disappointed by this; East End makes some great brews, but at this point, this isn't one of them
Thanks, kbuzz, for the opportunity

32oz swing top purchased at Capone's in Norristown PA
Appearance: Pours a pale golden with a massive 3 finger crown that shows some retention and lace.
Smell: Moderate smoke (I'm guessing alder or most likely hickory), some band aid phenolics, and a fairly bready malt come through.
Taste: Same as the nose with a bit of herbal hoppiness and a minor citrus note that come along for the ride.
Mouthfeel: On the thick side of medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A decent smoked lager that goes down easy. Not something I'd seek out again but I wouldn't hesitate to have one on draft during the course of a night either!

Hazy amber with a tight lip of glazey foam. 3.0
Salty, smoked bacon and sourdough. Nothing faint about that aroma. Smoky and savory, and almost sweet. 3.5
Extremely smoky and briny. Firmly hop bitter, as well. A touch sweet with hints of caramel and treacle. Nearly fruity in the finish. Phenomenal. 4.5
Velvety smooth with a softer carbonation. Very drinkable. I could down another. 4.0
Much better than anticipated. Very very good. 4.0
