WOWEEEE! So, this is Malt Liquor, eh? Ya know, this ain't half bad, really. Ain't half good either.
Purchased a 6 pack of "Tall-Boys". Put'em outside, in the shade, next to the dog house in a brown paper bag, in the frigid cold for 2 days and grabbed a cold one to try it.
It looks a dulled yellow-gold. It smells like a beer from 1964 would, I suppose. It does taste good. Really. The feel is hard to pinpoint but it feels fair. Over it, I think I'm gonna grab another one before the games begin.

40oz taped to both hands. The worst headache ever while sitting in class the next day. Rinse and repeat.

7.5% abv (might be lower on the east coast)... A strong malt liquor with a corn after taste. very boozy tasting, the alcohol isn't masked well. Tastes better than Steel Reserve though, and is stronger than Mickeys. It's just 4 dollars even for a 40 ounce whenever I want a cheap buzz.

Not awful. I got mine in a glass 40-ounce bottle on the west coast, so the ABV was 7.5%. Drank out of a 20oz metal tumbler.
First 20 ounces were fine. Tasted like Miller High Life with more sweetness, but the same crisp, wheat-y, satisfying aftertaste. Inebriation followed soon after. It really is quicker!
The last 20 ounces were much different. I picked up something undesirable - a synthetic fatty flavor; I can only compare it to butter-flavored cooking spray. Was only noticeable. however, I did not care and decided to finish the rest of it.
Tastes like a normal beer with a much more intense, cereal-y flavors. The flavor of wheat is much more pronounced as well as the sweetness. Notes of things that are not very beerlike, including a harsh, rice-y flavor most likely due to the manufacturing process or increased alcohol content
Gets the job done though!

16 oz. can poured into tall mug
(June 16, 2025 best-by date printed on bottom of can)
L: 100% clear pale gold topped by thick fluffy head of white/offwhite foam almost 2 inches tall with loads of sticking; keeps a thick skin and pronounced collar of white/offwhite foam
S: stale grain, stale corn, kettle corn, grain sacks that were wet but now are dry; at times has a slight metallic aroma; the nose would be fine, possibly even good, without the metallic note, but that metallic note is annoying and ruining some otherwise decent grain notes
T: very sweet, hints of corn but mostly carbonated watered-down Karo syrup ... almost cloyingly sweet at first; over time enough husky grain flavor comes in and tries hard to balance out some of the corn syrup sweetness
F: light and airy with a nice crispness
O: despite looking beautiful and feeling pretty good, the smell is just below par, and the overly sweet taste drags this one down into the sub-3 range for me; I love AALs and have had some decent luck with other malt liquors, but this is bordering on terrible — it's not that bad, and I'll be able to finish my one pint with no problem, but this beer is as one-and-done as it gets for me

I picked up a 40 oz, being very aware of what the general opinion of this beer is and was pleasantly surprised. Frothy initial pour, lots of head, but short-lived. Nose matched the pallette, a lot of malt and corn notes. Heavy carbanation, I enjoy that in my beers. Sweeter than what I was expecting. Easy drinking, and cheap as they come. Not bad at all for the price. It knows what it is, and I can respect that.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter glass.
Look: Golden in color. Medium sized off white head. Poor head retention but strong lacing.
Smell: Malty but there's something else there that I'm having trouble placing. It's some kind of off note.
Taste: Honestly better than the nose. It's sweet and malty, but not cloying. Moderately medicinal tasting. I probably don't "want" to drink the entire 40 oz, but maybe after half the bottle it won't matter anymore.
Feel: Solid medium body and a good amount of carbonation for the style.
Overall: I had to try one. It's really not as bad as I expected, but it's also not good.
