I have a few left. Really refreshing after cutting grass. I hate they have retired this one.

Well, this doesn't happen often. A bottle, courtesy of the creator of the canquest, woodychandler. Poured from a clear 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is bursting with pineapple juice. Taste is more like pineapple, soda, tasty but very sweet. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's a pretty good beer, but a bit to sweet for me.

Redd's Pineapple Ale has a thin, fizzy, white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, golden appearance with no glass lacing. The aroma is of white bread crust and faint pineapple. The taste is the same, with no bitterness, but some tart. Mouthfeel is medium and a tad slick, and Redd's Pineapple Ale finishes mostly dry.

Hey, the Bottle read "Limited Pick", so I picked "Limited". If that changes, sue me. Otherwise, go with what you know, or so they tell me! I was simply trolling the singles selection at the Friendly Greek Bottle Shop (FGBS) when this jumped out a me. It makes another first for me - add, pic, review/rating. All in a day's work.

From the Bottle: "Limited Pick"; "Special Release".

Well, they screwed it up with a screw-off cap, but c'est la guerre! I set the cap aside for other nefarious uses & started a heavy-handed C-Line pour, having been denied a Pop! It fizzed, foamed, popped & finally gave up without even a sou for head. 8=( Color was a drop-dead gorgeous Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, enticing The Gelt Gang of Midas, Croesus & Mammon to stir from my living room couch & come running into the kitchen for a taste. It is the beginning of the end of the CY 2018-'19 NHL hockey season & they watch every televised game at my house. I might have thought this below them, but the nose was simply redolent with pineapple, so it is hard to turn up one's nose when it is as advertised. Mouthfeel was thin & watery which is always & forever an irritation. Grr. The taste, while still unmistakably fruity & pineapple, it had a more candy-like and artificial quality than did the nose. Finish was slightly pineapple-tart, in the mode of a Jolly Rancher. Not bad, but more artificial than I would prefer. YMMV.
