Bright golden color with no head.
Aroma with notes of orange marmalade, apple puree, bananas and cloves.
Flavor with notes of honey, Belgian yeast, pineapple, mild booze, herbal hops, candy sugar, pears, white wine and mild clove. Medium dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Medium body with low carbonation. Alcohol of 9% is well disguised.
I really didn't see much difference from their Belgian Blond Ale, just highlighting more pear and vinous notes. This is sweet, alcoholic and fruity, still with decent complexity and within style.
