Had this a couple times from a shared 3.5 liter `tower´ at Neumarkt Shopping in Blumenau. On to the beer:
Pale yellow in color, the foam leaves a little touch of lacing and decent head retention for a short moment. Its nose reveals a light amount of DMS and a touch of malt sweetness, but I could have sword adjuncts were used in this beer. You just have no idea where this beer was going to go based on smell.
The flavor is for the better. It´s mostly a white bread and cracker combination of tasting notes. A little sweetness creeps in and there´s a light hay note. Fairly smooth with a light tingle of carbonation, and it´s easy to kick back.
After several cans of Skol on the bus to Blumenau, Bierland Pilsen restored my faith in the both the beverage and the style. Worth trying out if you´re headed to Blumenau.

made at a local brewery, in the city I live.
Looks good, with a lot better color than the average lager. Nice head, could last long, but it doesn't go away that quickly.
Mouthfeel is a little too fizzy for my pesonal preference, but not that bad.
Tastes good, could be a little hoppier, and a little less acid.
Wirth a try, if you like pilsners.
[this brewery was making a quite nice hefeweizen, but they are no longer brewing it, I don't know why.)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
