75cl bottle served into my 20cl stemglass at the Glazen Toren booth at Antwerp Beer Passion Weekend 2010 in Antwerp, Belgium. Reviewed from notes taken in July 2010. This was a beer brewed specifically for the event.
A: Pours a two finger head of no cream, fair thickness, and bad retention. Body colour is a dark murky yellow.
Sm: All my broken nose picks up are lemon citrus esters and maybe some grapefruit. A mild strength aroma.
T: Lemon citrus and grapefruit esters over a full-bodied subtly barley foundation. Complex and refreshing. A bit yeasty and biscuity. Very well built and balanced. Wonderful. Layered and flavourful. Classic saison notes are right up to par here.
Mf: Coarse to bring out the subtle flavours. Wet, refreshing. Complements the flavours quite well. Tingly. Good carbonation and thickness.
Dr: Very drinkable and of remarkable quality. It's a shame this was a one-off beer, but I'm excited to try other saisons from this brewery. Very fairly priced for such a great beer (1 token/2 euro for a 20cl pour).

This was one of the better beers I had at Antwerp Beer Passion Weekend 2010.
