Poured from a 0,75L Champagne Bottle:

The appearance of this brew is it has a quite hazy body with an orangish caramel color, quite like a hefeweizen. There is a massive amount of thick, rocky, and off white head produced when poured into my plain pint glass. Retention lasts all the way through each serving.

The aroma is very fruity and hoppy: orange and maybe a hint of apple mixed together. Ester's given off from the yeast is quite detectable too. This is a very fragrant beer.

Helios Tripplebock is crazy for being a German brew, as it is a total hop bomb. There are champagne like qualities, giving it a grape flavor, but has quite a lemony kick as well. The heavy sourness is probably from bacteria now that I think about it.

This feels more like a dry champagne more so than a beer. It is very coarse and leaves the palate dry.

This is a heavy beer and almost too sour. It's hard to pinpoint the variety of this beer (maybe a strong Gose), but I guess Doppelbock it is, based on some web research.
