I had this beer on-tap in a snifter at WABL Belgianfest 2015.
Appearance: rich, dark red-brown hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of ivory foam. Very attractive.
Smell: buttery with a compelling, piquant sourness. It's got a kind of an indescribable fruitiness, with perhaps a hint of cherry. Great.
Taste: rich and malty with a caramel character and a nice cherry and raspberry fruitiness. There's also something in there that adds just a dash of chocolate flavor; I don't know what it is, but I love it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess. I quite like it.
Overall: this beer is very tasty and amazingly drinkable for its ABV. Of course, I'm a sucker for cherry beers, but I really love this.
