(Served in a tall frozen mug)
A- This beer pours a golden light yellow hued body very translucent and crystal clear with a thin white head at the very top of the glass. There is a gentle carbonation of big bubbles that glide to the surface. The head soon fades to nothing but a thin ring.
S- The smell of dry cloves was light with a white wheat bread smell that finishes with a light noble hop aroma and a bubble gum smell that increases as the beer warms.
T- The soft taste of clove sweetness has a soft hint of pale malt followed by a noble hop sulfury bite at the finish. There is also a soft black pepper hint to the hops and a soft plastic flavor that increases as the beer warms. The plastic taste is not really offensive as it sounds.
M- This beer has a medium-light mouthfeel with a big tight fizz that cleans up the finish.
D- This beer has qualities of a Hefeweizen blended with a Pilzner that really turns up the hefe yeast as the beer warms. This beer does not lack flavor but is just a bit over the top in flavor. No real Saison qualities either.
