Yikes. What a horrible beer. Pours SUPER flat with no head, no lacing, no carbonation to speak of. The colour is ok I guess - orange-amber. I'm hesitant to give this beer 3.0 for smell, but its not that bad. Not good either. Yes, there are hops, but that's about it. However they disappear in the taste. In fact, all I taste is water. WTF is this stuff? Horrible.

Had a 660 ml bottle with my brother in law that we split into two pints.
Smell was very hoppy at first and was very promising for an IPA
Appereance was just about right for an IPA with a thin head however.
Taste was quite disappointing as no hops came out to give the signature of the IPA the name indicated it was an intense IPA but it was not quite an IPA at all
Overall the beer was great but the finish never came its like they got scared that the hops might offend the drinkers, but in fact it is what we are after in an IPA!!

Received as a beer present at christmas 2010.
Copper color beer and slightly hazed. The head is dense and sticks well to the glass. The aroma is caramel malts with some fruity notes. Light and no intensity. This beer is shy. Taste wise it is mainly caramel malts and absolutely no bitterness. It fell short of the style. Truly not an IPA. More like a amber ale if you ask me.
It is easy to drink but there is no point in drinking more than one. Feels like an IPA brewed by a macrobrewery. Shy of intensity and taste! I need to stay away from this one.

A- Lots of soda-like bubbles. Head is gone in a flash. Reddish-brown.
S- Like a completely watered down basic pale ale. A bit of a rum smell.
T- See smell. A bit wood-like.
M- Carbonated water. Not really like seltzer, not as refined. More just like water with coarse aggressive bubbles.
D- A part from being refreshing, there is nothing about this beer that makes you want to drink it.
Man, what it it with this brewery? It's like they're trying to brew macros.
